Paola Caballero now holds a Postgraduate Diploma from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama as well as both Masters and Bachelor degrees from the New England Conservatory. She has attended festivals all over North America including the Tanglewood Young Artists Program, Santa Barbara Music Academy of the West, and the Banff Centre for the Arts where she was leader of Banff Festival Orchestra under conducted by Krzysztof Pendercki.
Other collaborations include performances with Joni Michchell, Michael Bublay. Herbie Hancock at Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards in Toronto Canada.
Ms. Caballero has now chosen to return to her native home in Spain and to continue her professional career here in Barcelona. She has been leader of the newly formed chamber orchestra of Barcelona and has also had subbed with the Orquesta Cuidad de Granada and performs regularly with the Orquesta Sinfonica de Barcelona y Nacional de Catalunya. Other chamber music activities include the newly formed ensemble NeoArs, who have received the INAEM career grant from the Ministerio de Cultura of Spain as well as collaborations with Barcelona based contemporary group BCN 216.
Ms. Caballero is currently performing on a 1792 Bergonzi from the generosity of the Maggini-Stiftung Foundation.
